Pick up and drop off
Please drop your dog off at the scheduled appointment time. Since our services are booked by appointment only, late arrivals may be asked to reschedule. At the time of drop-off, please provide a viable contact number. Expect a courtesy call from Woofs 20 minutes prior to your pet being ready. At Wolfgang, we strive to keep cage time to an absolute minimum to decrease stress levels for your pet. Pick-up is expected within 30 minutes of your courtesy notification. If you know, you cannot pick up within that time, arrangements will need to be made at the time of the booking. A kennel fee of $5/15 minutes will be necessary for late pick-ups. Should your pet require a cage-less service, we do offer an expedited appointment for an additional fee.
Payment is due at the time of pick up. Pricing varies for each dog and is determined by various factors which include: breed, size, age, temperament, type of coat, condition of coat, and services requested. We can provide you with an estimate at the time of drop-off. We accept cash, credit cards and local checks. There is a $50 charge for any return checks.
We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for our staff and our other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24-48 hours' notice if you need to cancel an appointment.
The first time a client misses an appointment without notification, we will make a note in your file.
All future missed appointments will require payment for the groom at the time of scheduling.

For your dog’s safety, we require that all pets be current on vaccinations before receiving grooming services. We will be happy to contact your veterinarian to obtain records. Vaccine records can be emailed to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also bring at the time of your appointment. Please contact us if you have any questions or if your veterinarian has provided you with a vaccine exemption. No dog can receive services unless vaccinations are up-to-date.
We believe in comfort over vanity and as a result, de-matting of severely matted dogs is not offered as one of our services. Dogs with severely matted coats will require a very short clip which the groomer can show you the exact length your dog will be clipped. In the event of any dog needing a shave / clip down due to excessive matting, the owner should be aware that skin irritation is likely to occur. Please keep in mind that a matted coat may cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritation, and skin infections. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, and skin folds trapped and hidden within the matts. Heavy matting may also trap moisture near the dog’s skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow. De-matting causes skin irritation. We likely will not be able to provide you with the the hairstyle that you would like if your dog is severely matted.
For the safety of your dog and others in the grooming area, dogs with fleas or ticks will not be accepted during this time of COVID-19. Should the owner be unaware of the infestation, the owner will be immediately contacted and asked to pick up their dog.
